The Challenge

The main challenge was not the lack of information, but the lack of structure. The original website had complex scientific content, but it was difficult for users to scan, understand, and act on.

Unclear Information

Architecture

Users couldn't find key scientific

and organizational content due

to fragmented navigation and

lack of clear pathways.

Dense Scientific Content

Complex scientific information

caused cognitive overload

without high-level summaries

for broader audiences.

Weak Engagement

Pathways

Credibility signals were buried,

and opportunities for users to

subscribe or contact were easily

missed.

Users had difficulty understanding the company's mission quickly.

Important scientific and organizational content lacked clear hierarchy.

The website did not fully support different levels of scientific familiarity.

Accessibility and readability issues reduced trust and comprehension.

Users needed clearer pathways to publications, solutions, contact, and newsletter engagement.

Research & Discovery

We used a mixed-method research approach to understand both the existing structural issues and the needs of our target audiences.
